Channeling Monet

Claude Monet is an Impressionist artist who has some of the most beautiful paintings in the world, in my opinion. Monet was an expert with light and color. He would, like photographers, wait for a particular time of day for a certain hue of light. He best displayed this technique when he painted the Rouen Cathedral. You can view those here http://www.bc.edu/bc_org/avp/cas/fnart/art/monet2.html I love color and shape and that’s what I mainly focus on when taking photos. Below are the pictures with his style in mind.

Taken at Lake Natoma when the sun was setting last night after the rain.
